Accouting Analyst

Biodextris is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) serving the biologics and vaccines industries.

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of accounting analyst.

This position will report to the Director of Finance & Administration.

This is a permanent and full-time position.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insights to management.

Data Analysis

• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Identify trends and areas for improvement within financial data.

Compliance and Auditing

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information.
• Assist in special projects as needed.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or other relevant field.
• CPA accounting designation

• Project-based accounting environment
• Pharmaceutical industry
• Audit
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.

• Bilingualism: French and English
